Don’t ask me anything about Christmas I don’t believe in pagan Worshipping or pagan Easter!! I don’t worship pagan or celebrate any Pagan holidays!!

I believe anything that we are told to celebrate is for commercial and economic reasons. If you have to be reminded to be kind and spend time with your family it’s too late.

I come from an extended family and my mum always helps everyone despite some of them being ungrateful.I grew up with that spirit and I have passed that to my kids as well.

We were taught that Xmas is a time for compassion and for thinking of and assisting those less fortunate. I learned this from our parents and since I am Catholic from those lessons we were taught.

I was about seven years old when I learned the true meaning of Christmas, and how it was important to give to others, especially those less fortunate . Even as a child it always made me happier to give than to receive!

I was about eight my mum has always taught me about giving and not expecting and we have often given to those less fortunate than us so I still found it magical that I could be a bigger part of the gifts and making things special. I have always got or made gifts for people and love Christmas time for how generous it can make people.

I was always taught to give to others from as far back as I can remember.

We were set a wonderful example by our Mum to be caring and generous people.

I would save my pocket money to buy gifts. It wasn’t much but I could get everyone that mattered to me a small trinket or treat. I’d always be willing to donate toys to Christmas appeals too 😊
