All animals have their own personalities. Dogs, cats, horses, etc.
My dogs have different personalities with different people in the house as well, as well as visitors. My big dog likes to cuddle the most and next to me, not on top of me, my smaller dog likes to lay across my lap. They both get super happy when I get home from work but then relax after a few minutes.
With my son or husband, they will talk back, and vocalize when being told something like the time to go outside. It’s hilarious
