- In moments of grief or loss: Silence can be a way of honoring someone’s feelings or the gravity of a situation. Sometimes, just being there without speaking can express solidarity and empathy better than words ever could.
- When trying to process emotions: When people are overwhelmed by emotion, silence allows them time to gather their thoughts and feelings. In these moments, words might feel inadequate or even intrusive.
- In tense or uncomfortable situations: Silence can create space for reflection and allow people to think before responding, particularly when emotions are high or when speaking too quickly might make things worse.
- Between close relationships: With those we know deeply, silence often communicates intimacy and understanding. Sometimes, you don’t need to speak to feel connected; the silence itself speaks volumes.
- In moments of awe or wonder: Sometimes, silence is the best response to something beautiful, like a breathtaking view or a profound experience. Words might seem insufficient in such a moment.
Sorry, had to correct my response lol. It’s just based off of my own experience because I’m not that verbal but my silence usually tells it all.
Our auras, energy’s and consciousness connect in many ways.
2 people can understand something between each other in a moment of eye contact that would take endless words to convey.
Large groups of people stood in silence can feel the strength of the thoughts and emotions of all present, be it in anticipation, nerves or grief. It’s very powerful.

When actively listening to someone so you do not have to interrupt them
Thanks for sharing Virginia
Silence has been proven to speak louder than noise.I have observed this especially when folks have arguments or confrontations. When one person stops dpeaking and walks away from that situation,it does send the message to the one who continues that it is over,at least in the end of that situation.
Myriam that is true that silence speaks loud especially when you’re angry thanks for sharing
