I would love either and have gone on a few beach vacations already. I have been to the mountains but not as a getaway more of a drive through. So, I would have to say a mountain getaway would be ideal! To enjoy the clean mountain air and the scenery would be so peaceful. Stay in a nice log cabin and enjoy a fire! Ahhh. Let me go plan our next family trip right now lol.
I go to the beach almost every year in Galveston with my husbands family so I would have to choose a mountain getaway just for the new experience and the peacefulness it would bring.
I live in DFW, TX and still have not been to Galveston lol. We have gone to Jamaica Beach, TX and we loved it! But yes I am ready for a mountain getaway! Thanks for answering!

I find the mountains a bit scary especially these days so much is happening. So for my own safety. I would choose the beach.
I do understand but honestly danger can happen in both places. I would definitely not go to either alone lol. Right after our last beach trip we heard on the news a lady was bit by a shark at that same beach we just left from! Thank God for his protection!

I like the woods and nature so camping style holidays are great to me.
I think I have camped once in my younger years and none as an adult. I do want to take my kids camping though! But not too far in the woods lol
