Good deed?

Often the person or people will still get the benefit the same as a good deed but the intention isn’t the same from the good doer as they are doing it for content for the platform they upload it too.

When I do a good deed there’s no reason to post it on social media or brag about it. It’s all about helping others and in turn, your own heart feels full for helping someone else’s day go better.

If I do something good for someone why should I publish it?
Matthew 6:1-4
“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

Not if they film it, no. Most of those clips of good deeds by the doer, are fake and made up. Like someone said already, good deeds are not seen, especially not online!!

Well, it’s no longer a good deed if post it on social media it’s now becomes a recognition of selfish interest!! Whenever I do a good deed it’s in private and no one knows about it!!!

It is still a good deed as long as it is to show that there is kindness still in the world. As long as it is not to brag or trying to be mean spirited towards someone else things of that nature.

some people do good just to show of if you do good socail media dont have to know about it you do it out of your heart

Genuine good deeds are done quietly.

Wanting a wider audience to know about it always makes me think the motivation is a bit selfish

They probably are doing good deeds but need validation so it’s not only out of the kindness of their heart.
