Ready for marriage

I need to find love first before I can think about marriage!!

I think everyone is different but I knew when I met my husband at 16 I knew he was the one but we didnt marry until I was 21.

Marriage at thirty for both is better. That age I consider maturity.

I’m not sure of what would make someone ready for marriage. If I knew the answer to that question, I would probably be married myself right now

When they’re mature enough and have known the person they want to marry for at least a year or two. It takes longer than a few months to really know someone else’s likes, habits, beliefs, temperament, moods, character, etc.

Jumping into marriage too soon often ends in divorce so it’s best for the couple to take it a little slower, just my opinion 😊

Nowadays the young people get married when they 21 dont wait for 30 yrs

I don’t really know, but it seems like a very modern thing that people wait for marriage.

Earlier generations seemed more likely to marry young, to their first serious boyfriend/girlfriend.

I do wonder what changed!

When they have matured enough. In this day and age, by the time you finish education you will be around 21-22 years so I would say they should give themselves at 2 years to work and sustain themselves before marriage. So maybe around 25 years at least.
