I’d rather never be able to cry.
Laughter is such a vital part of connection, joy, and resilience—it helps us bond, heal, and cope. Life without it would feel incredibly lonely and heavy.
Crying serves a purpose too—it’s a release for pain, grief, or overwhelm—but humans can still experience and process deep emotions without tears. We can express sadness through words, art, silence, or even comfort from others.
But losing laughter? That feels like losing a piece of the soul.
