Discipline should start from home. Parents should have time to sit and talk to their children about respect, kindness, love and particularly teaching them about God. Families should have time to pray together. I also blame the system itself.
You are exactly right. Time with your children is very important. I taught my children at home after my daughter(at the time was in middle school) tried to commit suicide due to bullying. I taught them everything I could that my grandmother taught me. Respect is number one! Especially their elders! I didnt know jesus at the time even though he was right there beside me so my children didnt know him until he found us last year so I wish that could have been a part of their lives sooner but hes in our hearts now and thats what matters. We are living in world where kids are under immense pressure due to social media, bad influence from other kids, grooming. The list goes on.
