Hi Pamela! My dog also has IVDD & hip dysplasia, she is a chiweenie. She’s also my world! What kind of dog do you have?
BooBoo(male) is a chiweenie/shih tzu mix. His mother is a chiweenie and she is starting to have problems with her hips. She almost passed of pyometra last year. They both live normal lives as long as they aren’t in pain. Im exploring different options on that at the moment.
My girl (Panda) just got on a new arthritis medication called Librela, it’s injected by the vet once a month & has made a huge difference in our lives! It’s around $80-$100 per month.
What is your dogs disability? One of my babies have IVDD. Its a struggle everyday but he is my world!
