When you were a kid, what did you think being this age would be like? Is the reality different?

My mom was a single mother, so I knew what to expect, but I find it easier since almost 11 years ago to have the help of my husband. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy regardless of marriage or being single, but I did not expect financially it would be this hard.

I thought it would be fun to be independent, working and having my on money without having to ask my parents for help. Now reality is in kicking with all the responsibilities I face .I want to be young again -Lol.

Mmm?? Uhm?? That is a good question Jacqueline, but, a difficult question. I’m not too sure, when your a tiny little kids just learning and living and enjoying life, do we really think about being a adult?? No, we don’t!! Not really it may come to our mind and wonder, but with no understanding of adult we are too young to think about getting old.
