Was math created or discovered?

I believe that math was created by man.I always have had a negative reaction against it, especially algebra.When I was growing up,at my school,we were practically pressured into learning and doing exceptionally well in Math.I am used to addition, substraction, multiplication and division.Fractions too I learned to tolerate.But algebra was seen as an enemy to me.Also,I never learned trigonometry or calculus.But math is in practically all things,and that’s why you don’t hear the expression,Do the math for nothing.
