I think one thing that’s often overrated but still gets a lot of love is social media. Don’t get me wrong—it’s a powerful tool for connection, self-expression, and information. But the constant pressure to present a curated, “perfect” version of life, the algorithm-driven echo chambers, and the way it can contribute to burnout and mental health issues can make it feel more toxic than it’s worth at times. People often talk about how amazing it is to stay connected, but the impact it has on well-being is sometimes overlooked.
Right there with you, I only have my social media for certain people and friends that I wouldn’t have any other way of contacting.
