I think they are a learned behaviour from parents, relatives and friends. Also from an individual’s experience, usually bad. And we are all different, so react and respond in our own unique ways.
As always Jacqueline, my pleasure!
People’s different phobias could come from something that happened in their life, like a tragedy, incident or being hurt; but can depend on their personality.

People had different phobia because each person have different experiences in life.

I believe trama plays a big part in phobias. A person can heal from their trauma and let their fears go but some may run deeper than others causing the phobia to stay. Its all in the mind.

People have different phobias because of a mix of personal experiences, genetics, and how their brains are wired. Some fears come from past trauma, others from how sensitive or anxious someone naturally is, and some are even tied to survival instincts from way back. It’s all really personal.

I think it is because of something that happened to them that was traumatic, at least that is what happened to me and I have fear of being trapped.

I think it’s just human nature because for sure we all have at least one phobia. For me it is most all things creepy crawly. I do not like killing bugs and I most certainly do not want them on me. My mom was a single parent raising me and so she was the one to take care of those things. I guess I just didn’t learn how to be as brave as she was. I mean if I just must I will kill a bug but more than likely it will be with bug spray lol. So for me this phobia is just in me. I also don’t like heights, or the thought of being enclosed in small space. Again, those things weren’t “taught” but just how I am wired. Now my husband he is super brave he will kill bugs with his bare feet and grab a snake by its neck. I thank God for him!

People develop different phobias due to a combination of genetic predisposition, learned behaviors and specific experiences l. While some phobias may be linked to a particular event or trauma, others can be learned from observing the reactions of others or through repeated exposure to frightening situations. Additionally, brain structure and function, as well as chemical imbalances, can also play a role in the development of phobias.
people have different phobias as they have varied experiences.

We have different phobias because we come from different walks of life. Some of them could be hereditary or from personal experience.

Some people develop phobias as a result of traumatic experiences. My sister did. She was chased by a German Shepherd as a very small child causing her to develop a fear of dogs.
Yes that is something traumatizing for sure definitely will have you fear of dogs
