Many people pleads guilty for crimes that they haven’t committed due to lack of knowledge or funds. So they take a plea deal confessing to a crime that they did not commit in hopes of a lesser sentence .Should their confession be thrown out due to the lack of counseling, ( such as having a lawyer present)
Thank you for your response. There are people who ends up going to jail for crimes that they haven’t committed but because their lawyer didn’t fight the fight they took a plea deal in hopes of a lesser sentence, or none at all.
