I think that some of the violent entertainment causes real violence. I believe a lot of the gun violent today is due to what is being displayed in music and videos.
On it’s own, neither. You have to already have violent tendencies, triggers and maybe even a warped perception of reality to want to test out what you see in movies and videos in real life scenarios.
