Can a person change if they are a serial cheater, and find the one they really love to not cheat?

I’d like to say there is hope for a person who constantly cheats to be faithful but they would have to work just as hard to not fall into temptation.

If a person is a serial cheater then I would never trust them again, I’ve been there before so I know not to trust them again never!!

It is hard to trust someone who is a cheater. Thank you for your response!
