I prefer stick shift❣
First, I learned on minibikes and motorcycles on how to shift then my first car was a stick shift, Datsun 240Z. My dad have me drive his Volkswagen Beetle which was stick. He had me drive to a steep hill and learn how to rock it before he got me the 240Z.
Personally, I feel like I have more control and feel safer with a stick shift.
Your Hubby?? A hubby?? Well whatever a hubby is I agree l. If your feeling tired from finishing work why would I jump into a car with stick drive to work again on my bone joints. Nah..into old for that Automatic I can relax my bones joints. Well..agree maybe girls can take pains better then men, having so many babies nor wonder..lol.hehe
