For me it depends on the style and gender. I am male but like some women sneakers like Keds that used to be for both genders. More popular among women for years until 2008 when they came back for males but cost twice as much. I like the women’s sneaker boots and male converse, and reeboks of both genders If it is male shoe, i wear a size 11 1/2 and women’s size 13.
