Being academic intelligent does not equate to being successful in life. Being happy will result from having contentment of who you are and one’s ability. An academic intelligent person can also suffer from a disease known as PERFECTIONISM which is brought about from fear of failure. If one fears failure, this may hinder him from trying to do some other things which may lead him or her to success. Therefore the person remains and happy because he has not accomplished some of the endeavors as a result of fear.
I think that depends on how they feel about what they were studying (if it’s something they were passionate about) and how they were able to use that intelligence to get what they want out of life.
