Thank you for answering my question. I love how you answered because I’ve been told my whole life that I need a filter. I’m pretty sure I didn’t come equipped with one lol. I also have a shadow 2 of them both mixed breeds both were my grown kids dogs that seem to be mine now lol. It is nice though to be tripping over dogs and just being who we are that’s how I know I have arrived home
I completely agree with that! My dog had literally been the most loyal soul I’ve ever met. Shes helped me get through a very long divorce and always seems to be very in tune with my emotions.

I really think home is a place to be safe and in some ways secure from the outside word. Being able to be your true authentic self and being surrounded by the ones you love. I feel a lot of people have different definitions of it but for me that’s generally what has sticked.

I think home means you can be in your own comfort zone. It’s a place of peace where you and your kids should feel safe
Home is a place blessed, where you and your family can be secure, have all you need, and share your sadness and happiness. Where you can help each other as a family. It does not matter how big or small.

Home is your safe space. Being around those that you love being able to laugh and make memories together regardless of what the “building” structure of your home is. Home is how your heart feels, warm, secure and just at ease from being with those that make a house, a home.
