Or to find out? misinformation unknown if there is any truth because of misinformation something is missing like the facts or the truth or some information is missing or hold back of information because of misinformation. You do sound confused David and unsure but let me try to clear it up for you. The question is asking you to explain how to separate the truth from what is not true because there is a lot put out that is not true so much so that is hard to decipher what is true.
