Firstly, the government can not favour everyone. Even if they are building a house for everyone there will still be some people that will be against such government. And if government is listening to me what about the other people’s opinion. So I prefer government that is doing the right things that favour the majority and making the society a better place
I’d rather live under a government that consistently does the right thing — even if it doesn’t always align with my personal views. A government that acts with integrity, justice, and the long-term well-being of all its people is more stable, fair, and effective than one that simply follows popular opinion or individual demands.
That said, good governance should also include listening to its citizens — not just to one person, but to diverse voices — to ensure it truly represents and serves the public interest. The ideal is a balance: a government that both does what’s right and listens thoughtfully.

I would rather live under a government that does both. They are elected to serve. But over the span of these almost last forty years, governments have been taken over by corporations and very wealthy individuals. They have influenced how everything is going these days.It is a dream hoping that any of these bought off politicians listen to anything We The People have to say.
Thanks Myriam
Thank you for your response.
The government never does the right thing, they always do what they think is right and that which will be to their own gain. I would rather prefer to live in a country where is the other way around

That’s so true Anna thank you for sharing your comment
Well..the question said, Would you live with a government doing the right thing? Ok so what I mean. i don’t trust any government, I mean the only government doing the right thing is Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso that’s the only government that is doing the right thing.
Thank you, David, for sharing your comment
This is a really great question. It would be nice to have a little bit of both. A government that is almost always doing the right thing is not going to please everyone. Some people are going to always complain and then the others will be alright with whatever is going on. It would be nice if the government would listen to me some times. There are times, I may be right and other times, I may be wrong. I am not always right with what to do. So, to answer your question. Just listen to me! 🙂
That makes sense Phyllis I think both is a good deal too thank you for sharing your thoughts on this matter
You are welcome!
Live with a government, no never not ever. I’ve never seen any government do the right thing. But, then again the only government in the world that doing the right thing Is Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso. The best government in the world. There is no one like him and no government in the world like the government of Burkina Faso. No western government can never be like Burkina Faso.
I’m confused David what are you saying?
If there is ever a government doing a right thing then yes, but it’s almost impossible so I d rather they listen instead.
Thank you Precious for sharing your thoughts
