Yes, perfectionism is widely considered to be a problem, but it’s important to distinguish between two types. There is a form of healthy perfectionism, which involves setting high standards and striving for excellence, and this can be a motivator for success and achievement. However, the form that is a problem, often called unhealthy perfectionism, is characterized by an obsessive and rigid mindset that is driven by a fear of failure or a need to avoid criticism. This type of perfectionism can lead to serious issues, including chronic stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, and procrastination. It can trap individuals in a cycle of either overworking themselves to exhaustion or avoiding tasks entirely because they feel they can’t meet their impossibly high standards.
Yes it’s a big problems for me, most of my family and friends hate that I want everything be done to perfection or don’t do it just leave it i will do it myself. Or if someone say it can’t be done it’s not possible. Then I will do it and show them how it done and show them that anything is possible if you only try.
