I’d go to ancient Greece — around the 5th century BCE — to witness the birth of democracy, philosophy, and theater. I’d love to hear Socrates question everything in the agora, see a play by Sophocles, and simply walk through a society that shaped so much of Western thought.
Not forever, of course — just long enough to listen, learn, and maybe ask a few questions of my own.
