I would rather have all the latest tech that to last forever, since I almost always only buy new tech when something breaks or stops working for some other reason.

Having the latest tech first might be exciting, but it’s often a short-term thrill. Tech that never breaks would mean less waste, less expense, and far less frustration over time. It would offer real reliability and sustainability — something that feels more valuable than just being the first to own something new.
