I’d rather be pretty good at many things.
Versatility allows you to adapt, connect ideas, and enjoy a wider range of experiences. Being an expert in one thing is valuable, but having a broad set of skills makes life more flexible, creative, and resilient—especially in a changing world.
That said, balancing depth in one area with breadth in others is often the sweet spot.
