Survival tools

If I could only choose one tool for survival on an island, I’d pick:

A) A high-quality survival knife 🔪

Here’s why:

A good knife can help with:

· Building shelter (cutting branches, shaping wood)

· Preparing food (cleaning fish, cutting fruit)

· Making other tools (spears, digging sticks)

· Even starting fire (using the spine with a ferro rod, if designed for it)

While fire starters, water bottles, and cordage are incredibly useful, a knife is the most versatile and foundational survival tool. You can improvise many things with a knife—but it’s much harder to improvise a knife.
