Should people be allowed to lie and/or misrepresent the truth?

Nobody should lie the truth should always be told

Yes, people are free to speak their minds, but laying is an imoral issue and a bit mental.

There is a difference between people who deliberately lie and those that innocently misrepresent the truth. A deliberate lie is based on dishonesty whereas an innocent misrepresentation is usually just someone’s own interpretation of the truth. This can be seen in many history books where the author declares that they are providing a truthful version of an event but if you listen to ten different people recounting that same event each version will be different in accordance with that persons point of view.

We are living in a world where people can do or say what they want. All I know is I will never trust a lier, nor would I want to be close or friends with liers
