How old were you when you were allowed to have a cellphone?

When I started driving, it was a T-Mobile Nokia. 2000s edition.

I was fully grown when cell phones came on the screen. I purchased my own, no permission was needed.

I was 22 years old when I was allowed to use cellphone

I got mine when I turned 18

We grew into the age when there were no cell phones. I decided to acquire one at my old age , somewhere in 2006

17 and half. I had just finished writing my Senior Secondary School Exams.

I was 17

I didn’t have a cell phone until I got married at the age of 23.

The first cellphone didn’t come out until the 70’s which were big and bulky and the smaller manageable cellphones not until the 80’s. I on the other hand didn’t get my first cellphone until I was grown.

Technically my first phone was a flip phone when I was 5 it was an old phone of my parents that didn’t work my first actual phone I think I was about 13 or 14.

I was allowed to have a cellphone when I was 13. My parents gave it to me for school and safety. It was just a basic phone, nothing fancy then.

I got my first cell phone when I turned 16.  It was a yellow Nokia that was the size of cordless phone.

LOL!!!! I was gifted a phone for my 16th birthday by my grandparents, and boy was my Mom upset!

In my days growing up there were no such things as mobile phones or laptops, computers not in my generation not of my times. This question is for this generation.
