I received a summons for Jury Service. I love it. I have been called on one other time and was selected but the individual pleaded guilty. I didn’t get to hear a case.
Now, I have been summons as a Federal Juror❗ I have to go out of town and if selected I will have to stay in hotel. Woohoo❗
Nobody likes doing it and I really enjoy it❗ ⚖
No I have never been summoned to jury duty. Glad I never had that experience because I wouldn’t want to be a part of sealing someone fate. Even though they probably deserve whatever sentence they receive because of the crimes they have committed. I just wouldn’t want to play a part in that

I have a feeling I will not be picked. I have a nephew who is an attorney in Florida, a nephew that is Law Enforcement Corporal plus my son was brutally murdered for winning $150❗
The questionnaire that I had to go online and complete had so many questions. Even asked if I am subscribed to subscriptions which are Elle, Vogue, Lego Magazine, Timi Tours and The Chronicles of the Horse.
Yeah, I’ve actually gotten a jury duty summons before. It kind of caught me off guard when it showed up in the mail.
I get an email prior to mail delivery showing me what I am going to receive. I could see it was from United States District Court and when I enlarged it, I could see the word “SUMMONS”. I said oh no, hope it’s not bad news.
Yes I have and got out of it with a doctor’s excuse
