I believe that love between a mother and child exists but I don’t think romantic love does. It is driven purely by hormones and the person’s own wants. Look at how many divorces there are. Intimate partners just use each other and when they can’t get what they want out of the situation, they dump you and move on as if you were yesterday’s trash.
