I think time was created with the universe because once the universe was created, that would be the start of time.

That’s not true time would not exist without the universe. According to the Bible, the universe and time were created at the same time, as the very first event. Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth,” is understood to be the origin of both the universe and the passage of time itself. I think that time came first before the universe because without the time there would be no universe. So I do think that the universe took time to be made and it did not just appear in one day. Perfection takes time and can’t be rushed.
