There is a god, even though it is hard to see that with the evil over taking the world each day. People are given free will and choose violence instead of doing good

prayers do not get answered right away
he hears you and he may want you to do things differently in order for that prayer to be answered. things take time not when we want it to happen right now, but when god is ready in his time
