The last pennies minted in the United States were produced on November 12, 2025, at the U.S. Mint in Philadelphia, marking the end of over 230 years of penny production. The final five one-cent coins were stamped with a special omega mark and are set to be auctioned to the public, potentially fetching millions due to their rarity. This historic event signifies the conclusion of the penny’s circulation, which has been a part of American currency since 1793.

I do save pennies but not sure if any of them are even worth anything

Jacqeline, you could make a time capsule❣ I am going to make one for the year 2025 and put the newspaper article about the pennies with pennies in it. Plus, we will add other things.

Thanks for sharing☘❣
