My son has been with his girlfriend for 5 years (high school sweet harts). Out of the blue she told him she needed a break because she needed to find herself and get back on her meds. Back story His girlfriend had some medical stuff and only worked here and there and then didn’t work for the last 3 years and he supported her. There is no preparing you for when your 22 year old gets his heart shattered. Right now my challenge is to help my son go through this, especially over the holidays.
