I believe that it can.

I believe it can destroy but only when it is one sided meaning one person is more invested than the other in the relationship

Being over ambitious makes alot people not to consider the feelings of those around them, that selfish goals hindered one’s from seeing when they are hurting other.

Ambition is a good thing, but over ambition on the other hand is toxic to any relationship because it instigate unhealthy competition and negative emotions.
