If common sense is “common,” why is it rare?

I have a girlfriend who is extremely book smart and others has told me that she is an odd one. I don’t think so, she takes it all in before she replies. I think she is thinking even when she is walking. 🚶🏻‍♀️📚

Now, there are several humans that do lack common sense and lack being smart which sometimes it’s due to bad habits: drinking & smoking. You would think they get tired‼

Simply because common sense is not truly common!

It is common in that, every normal person should have it. If not, then there is a problem.

Common Sense is Rare because it’s not common after all.

For you to think before taking an action, be it of good or bad shows that your sense is not common.

It common because we all have it,,, it is rare because it’s not everyone that has the sense in the common

People don’t often think before acting.

Common sense is what we, as normal people, perceive to be commonplace. However, I think we prioritize book smarts over street smarts, so “common” sense is more like “rare” sense. It’s sad.

That’s a good question!! I knew a guy who was super intelligent, taught science and biology, was a certified storm chaser (tornadoes) and was just as smart as they come when it came to book sense. But not one ounce of common sense in his body lol 🤣 🤣

I would say its from having anxiety, and being too emotional.
