Fear is the root obstacle. Ignorance can be cured with knowledge, and greed can be balanced with morality or consequences. But fear blocks curiosity, innovation, risks, honesty, and growth. People fear failure, fear judgment, fear loss, and fear the unknown. Every major breakthrough in human history came from someone refusing to be ruled by fear. Where fear is strong, progress dies.
