People believe lies because lies are often emotionally easier to accept than the painful reality. A lie that comforts is more appealing than a truth that demands change. Cognitive biases, fear of uncertainty, and group influence also make lies seductive. Humans are wired to seek emotional safety, not just factual accuracy, so their brains sometimes choose the version of reality that feels better rather than the one that is true.
Lie is comfy….. Because it wears the garment of truth around and people to accept easily,..what is readily available to them, suit their bias or matches up their expectations rather than what actually made could have made up that information…a wise person will always investigate to hold on to the truth….Guess we’v all been a fool at a point in time.. 😂😆😂😂

People often believe lies even when the truth seems obvious because lies are usually packaged in a way that feels easier to accept. The truth can be uncomfortable, challenging, or require us to change our perspective, while a lie often confirms what we want to believe. Emotion plays a big role as well — when a message aligns with our fears or desires, we’re more likely to accept it without questioning. Ultimately, it’s not that the truth isn’t clear; it’s that the lie feels safer or more convenient in the moment.

The bible says it too, prove everything and hold on to that which is true.
