Growing up (migrant Mexican family not sure if it was culture or just us lol) we would open our gifts at midnight Christmas eve before we went to bed. When my little brother who is 14 years younger than me came along, and was old enough to start to understand about opening his presents we switched it to opening on Christmas morning after we woke up. He has a disability and so we all stayed up assembling everting for him so his gifts were ready for him to enjoy when he woke up. He didn’t get to “open” presents, they were just lightly covered but for a long time he thought it was magic that all his presents were ready for him. And that made it worth it for everyone.
I think that is extremely heartwarming. Some don’t get to experience that type of togetherness
Aw so heartwarming =) Sounds like good memories

I think that is extremely heartwarming. A kind of togetherness some don’t get to experience.
