- Oh wow, such a deep question. I think the biggest lie people tell themselves at the end of the year is the “New year new me” syndrome. We are all formed by a chain of diverse choices we make over the years. So making a decision to change completely wouldn’t happen so easily. It takes consistency, discipline, and the strong determination driven by the bigger picture to be a better person by the series of informed choices and changes we make overtime. Little steps are what becomes giant leaps overtime.
