Every year ends with reflection, promises, and fresh hopes.
People look back, make plans, and tell themselves stories about what the next year will bring.
Some of those stories are motivating.
Others quietly hold people back.
This question isn’t about judging anyone—it’s about thinking honestly.
👉 What is the most common lie people repeat to themselves at the end of the year?
👉 Why do you think it’s so easy to believe?
👉 And how does it affect the way people live, work, or make decisions?

1. *”I’ll totally get fit/get back on track in January.”* (Next year’s gym resolutions, anyone? 🏋♀️)
2. *”I’ll start eating healthier tomorrow.”* (Spoiler: tomorrow turns into next week, next month…)
3. *”I’ll finally start that project/hobby I’ve been putting off.”* (How many years has it been? 😂)
4. *”Next year will be different. I’ll be more productive.”* (Same energy as “I’ll start waking up at 5 AM” 🙄)
5. *”I’ll save more money this time, for sure.”* (When the credit card bill comes, reality hits 🤣)

O boy! That’s the truth. I believe everybody follows suite? In the end of the year get depressed because they didn’t succeed in their goal. Isn’t it better to make realistic goals ? Start every day with it in mind. I learned along time ago to be my own person and follow step by step each day with that goal. Be real with ourselves. Be honest with ourselves. Persistent push through. Never give up. It’s not monkey see monkey do. Thank you for sharing. It makes me think about my new year goals.
