One skill I wish I had but don’t is the ability to pause time not to escape life, but to understand it better. I wish I could freeze moments when emotions are loud, replay conversations to choose wiser words, and study opportunities before they pass. It’s a skill I don’t have, yet wishing for it reminds me to be more present, more thoughtful, and more intentional with the time I do have.
One skill I wish I had is the ability to let things go naturally. Not ignore them, not suppress them but genuinely release them. Some people have this quiet strength where disappointment, guilt, or pain doesn’t cling to them forever. They process it, learn from it, and move forward lighter. I admire that. Holding on can feel like depth, but knowing when to let go is its own kind of intelligence.
