“Follow your passion” sounds inspiring… but is it actually good advice?
Some people say passion is the fuel that makes hard work feel easier—and that it leads to success if you stay consistent. Others say it’s a trap that keeps people dreaming, switching directions, and avoiding the boring-but-profitable skills that actually build a stable life.
So what do you think?
Is “follow your passion” a smart life strategy… or one of the biggest traps?
And if you’ve tried it: did it help you—or hurt you? 👇
I did not follow my passion and with all my life experience now it was a mistake. I had an ok life but i think it could have been so much more. I have to many regrets. Now in my 60’s its all about passion and no more regrets. I make the most of every day every moment i have left to the best of my ability’s. Your life is a gift do not waste it and live it with kindness and passion.

Well, some say it’s about finding purpose and others say passion is risky if it doesn’t pay the bills. It’s all a risk really. I’d say do what works for you really which can be summarized as what fuels you+what you like doing+ what solves your problems.
Cheers.
