“Follow your passion” sounds inspiring… but is it actually good advice?
Some people say passion is the fuel that makes hard work feel easier—and that it leads to success if you stay consistent. Others say it’s a trap that keeps people dreaming, switching directions, and avoiding the boring-but-profitable skills that actually build a stable life.
So what do you think?
Is “follow your passion” a smart life strategy… or one of the biggest traps?
And if you’ve tried it: did it help you—or hurt you? 👇
One following his passion can never suffice as a trap, honestly there is nothing more self satisfying than a person following a thing that gives them joy, motivation and drive. A student who has great passion for football will feel trapped inside a classroom where trigonometry and quadratic equation lessons is going on. He will feel lost and unhappy, but put him in the field and discover the magic of his feet, this is of course the story of many legends like Ronaldo and Messi.
P.s Just used that as an example and it can apply across different fields of endeavor
