“Follow your passion” sounds inspiring… but is it actually good advice?
Some people say passion is the fuel that makes hard work feel easier—and that it leads to success if you stay consistent. Others say it’s a trap that keeps people dreaming, switching directions, and avoiding the boring-but-profitable skills that actually build a stable life.
So what do you think?
Is “follow your passion” a smart life strategy… or one of the biggest traps?
And if you’ve tried it: did it help you—or hurt you? 👇
I feel that “Follow your passion.” is a very broad saying. A good saying but too broad.
A lot of people need a starting point. A step by step guide to even start following there passion or dreams. Some people don’t even know what their passion is. You might have a lot of things you really like and enjoy that aren’t your actual passion. And can I see where that saying can be a trap.
Interesting question. Something I have never thought of.
