“Follow your passion” sounds inspiring… but is it actually good advice?
Some people say passion is the fuel that makes hard work feel easier—and that it leads to success if you stay consistent. Others say it’s a trap that keeps people dreaming, switching directions, and avoiding the boring-but-profitable skills that actually build a stable life.
So what do you think?
Is “follow your passion” a smart life strategy… or one of the biggest traps?
And if you’ve tried it: did it help you—or hurt you? 👇
Follow your passion is mostly bullshit if you take it literally, just build something useful first, get decent at it, make money from it, then. If you’re lucky, the passion shows up later once it’s already paying the bills. Chasing passion from day one usually just means broke plus stressed plus switching hobbies every now and then.
