“Follow your passion” sounds inspiring… but is it actually good advice?
Some people say passion is the fuel that makes hard work feel easier—and that it leads to success if you stay consistent. Others say it’s a trap that keeps people dreaming, switching directions, and avoiding the boring-but-profitable skills that actually build a stable life.
So what do you think?
Is “follow your passion” a smart life strategy… or one of the biggest traps?
And if you’ve tried it: did it help you—or hurt you? 👇
Following your passion can lead to fulfillment, but its not always a smooth ride. Sometimes, turning a passion into a job can make it feel like work. Balance is keyyyy
Follow your passion sounds beautiful, buy it can either br powerful advice or a serious trap.
When it’s a good advice:
1) you already have a strong skill in that area
2)there is real demand for it
3)you are patient enough to build it gradually
When it is a trap:
1) you believe that if I love it, money will automatically follow
2) if it is hard , then it’s not my passion

Arguably, I think follow your passion doesn’t mean begin the passion.
There are pathways to success.
First training under someone who is already doing your passion, studying along that passion, engaging mentors along that passion are early steps.
All good to make the passion worth engaging.
