Yes, I grew up camping. We were in a camping club. Wore vests and exchanged pins & patches. We had foil packets then when I was in Girl Scouts, we had them at camp.
The oven foil packets are good too. Of course, I put them on a baking sheet.

Rap my roast lamb in foil with vegetable, potatoes and whatever I put inside. Good on you Rhonda. One day I would very much love to have some of your food. It was delicious. Easy preparation and easy cleanup.
I sliced my potatoes thin and put extra onions in my foil packet. I used salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. It was yummy, hubby enjoyed two packets❣ We have one foil packet leftover. Hubby says he is eating for lunch.

I made foil dinner packets last night.
Sheet a foil, drizzle olive oil. Place meat which we had pork chops, sliced potatoes and onions or whatever vegetables you want. I added salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Fold them up and place on baking sheet. Cook at 375 for 20 minutes. It was so yummy
Yes, I am going to make more often. I would like an all-veggie foil packet for myself and put all the meat in hubbies.
