I agree!! I think people would love them today. First time I went I was in third grade and my parents went to see Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid at the drive-in lol.

The only one I know of where I live now is about an hour away form me and the last time we went by it after wine tasting there was a line of cars clear into the street.
So they are still popular.

I remember we ordered from our car when I was little. There was a speaker at each spot. They delivered and the tray of food would fit on your window ledge.
That sounds awesome. The drive-in I went to you had to go to the food building. It housed food, the projectors for all 8 drive-in theaters and that bathrooms.
Yes I know we don’t have a drive in China, but, yes your right about that. Actually 10 years ago I was doing research on how to start up business my own drive in China, and have pretty looking Girly-girls bring food to customers care. But, I end up starting my catering business. You have some good business ideas!!

Another business idea is having an oil change business that has cute girls in shorts changing your oil in your car or a lawn service and have cute girls cut your lawn❣
I love the drive in. There was one in Salt Lake City, Utah that had 8 screens and would show two movies a night. The first one would play, that obviously the second, but then they would show the first one again.
Unfortunately they closed it down last year. It was open for 70 years.
Where I live now there is one like an hour away from me.
I was actually thinking maybe I could build one that would have clear covered parking areas for rainy nights. Like there is even a clear cover that goes to the screen so the rain does’t ruin the view. I live in the Pacific NW of America. I don’t know if that would even be possible but it would be awesome!

I’m thinking about writing Howard Buffet, Warren Buffets son, lives here in town. Howard gave us a water park and an amphitheater which is named Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater in honor of his wife, Devon.
